Rates, Terms and Conditions
Lisbon 2025
1. Registration
Online registration at the conference website is required for both in person / live and virtual participation. This also applies to all speakers, moderators, members of the press and guests.
After completing the online registration form, also indicating the payment method, the participant will receive an email confirmation indicating the amount due (automatic reply). Payment can be made directly via PayPal, direct debit authorisation or credit card; an invoice can be received on request. The confirmation of payment will serve as a certificate of participation.
The deadline for Early Bird registration is 30th September, 2025.
The deadline for regular registration via the conference website is 1st December, 2025 for both in person / live and virtual attendees. There is no deadline for online registrations as well as live registrations on site, at the conference location.
2. Registration Fees and Methods of Payment
The registration fees include for in person attendees:

- entrance to all plenary events and workshops/panel/roundtable sessions which are listed on the final programme on 3 ½ days at the conference locations (Lisbon Law University on December 3,4,5 and University Institute of Lisbon ICSTE on December 6, 2025):

For in person attendees:

ICSP members: 110 / 135 EUR
(only for ordinary members who paid membership fees for 2022-2024; no combination with Group or Student deduction)
Group (4+): 120 / 140 EUR
Student: 5 / 10 EUR (under the condition of providing a copy of student card)
FDUL and ISCTE Student (FDL proof needed): 5 / 10 EUR
Virtual lower to lower middle-income country: 10 / 15 EUR (needs individual decision, email to gs@twohomes.org)
Workshop presenters: 80 EUR

It is possible to apply for ICSP membership during the registration process until September 2025 to get the reduced conference rate for in person / virtual participation (email to gs@twohomes.org).

The registration fees do not include participation in the following optional side events which have to be booked separately on site:

Nazaré and Fátima Tour
Price: 87€ per person
Registration needed by 20th October 2025
This is a proposal for a visit to central Portugal, Fátima and Nazaré.
Fátima is a place of worship for Catholics and beyond, a pilgrimage site, receiving thousands of people who express their faith at the site of the apparitions of Our Lady of Fátima in 1917. Nazaré is a land linked to the sea, a fishing village that is now at the center of world surfing routes, known for its giant waves. Nazaré owes its name to the image of Our Lady of Nazaré, which came from the Holy Land.
This is a Full day (8h) visit

3. Cancellations / Changes
All cancellations and changes must be submitted by email to the ICSP General Secretariat – with indication of full name, invoice / reference number and bank details for reimbursement.
If cancellations are received by 1st December, 2025, the registration fee will be reimbursed minus an administrative fee of 50 Euros (incl. VAT for in-person attendees and 20 Euros for virtual attendees). If cancellations are received after 1st December, 2025, or in the case of non-attendance, there will be no reimbursement of the registration fee.
Changes to the registration, such as a name change or the registration of a replacement participant, can be made free of additional charges after payment of the registration fee has been received. Such changes must be emailed to the ICSP General Secretariat.

4. Privacy Protection
We use secure technologies to ensure the data protection of sensitive data. Information provided for the registration will be stored in our computer database for further processing within the prevailing relevant legal restrictions. The database can only be accessed by authorised persons responsible for technical, financial or editorial processing via the server. Personal data will not be passed on to third parties and will not be used for marketing purposes.
An official list of attendees will be published for the event, including full name, title, position, organisation, e-mail address city and country of origin. If you want to be included on in the list, you can agree to this option in the appropriate box on the registration form.
Photos will be taken during the event and may be used for public relations purposes by ICSP and will also be published on Internet pages. These data will not be used for commercial purposes. By attending the conference, participants agree to having their photograph taken.
People wishing to not have their photo published must email this to the ICSP General Secretariat.

5. Insurance
The conference organisers are in no way responsible for any insurance-related claims.
6. Legal Disclaimer
The conference organizers are not liable for damages to participants that occur in connection to attendance at the event, unless the damages were intentionally caused by the organizers or occurred as an act of negligence on the part of the organizers.
The conference organizers reserve the right to change the program, related activities, topics and participating speakers if necessary. ICSP is not liable for losses incurred by cancellation of the conference as a result of circumstances beyond their control. Should the organizers be required to cancel the conference, registered participants will be informed via e-mail. Registration fees will be fully reimbursed if they were verifiably paid. Further reimbursements of costs and liabilities will not be incurred by the organizers - irrespective of the reasons for the cancellation.
